Send us Fan MailWelcome to another inspiring episode of "Healthy Mind, Healthy Life." I'm your host Avik, and today, we have a remarkable guest with us – Billy Lahr. Billy is an intentional living coach and the creator of "The Mindful Midlife Crisis," a podcast designed for those who are navigating the complexities and possibilities of life's second half.
Billy's journey is one that many of us can relate to. After a successful 21-year career in education, he experienced burnout and made a courageous decision to step away in 2021. Following his departure, he embarked on a two-year adventure around the world, seeking meaningful experiences that could reignite his sense of purpose. Little did he know that this journey would lead him to profound insights and a powerful framework for intentional living.
Billy developed the "No BS GPS Guide to Purpose and Passion" as an alternative to the often clichéd advice of "Follow Your Passion." He believes that true purpose and passion stem from recognizing and harnessing your strengths, mindfully exploring your curiosities, building supportive communities, and establishing essential qualities like discipline, consistency, patience, and self-compassion.
But that's not all! Billy's story is filled with wisdom and personal growth experiences that have shaped his perspective on living a deeply meaningful life. From the transformative power of mindfulness to understanding his love languages and attachment style, he has valuable insights to share.
Billy's journey as a "Sober Explorer" and the quantifiable costs of not being mindful in relationships are subjects that have resonated with many people around the world. He's a strong advocate for intentionally-tailored daily routines and has a fantastic approach to productivity, replacing traditional "to-do" lists with "CHIPS" lists.
In a world where many are reevaluating their priorities and seeking a more mindful and intentional way of living, Billy's guidance and experiences are invaluable. So, stay tuned for a conversation filled with insights, wisdom, and practical advice on intentional living, purpose, and passion.

I'm honored to introduce our remarkable guest, Dr. Sara Siso, a beacon of hope and a testament to the power of holistic medicine and natural healing.

Her quest for healing took an extraordinary turn when her beloved sister, Dina, faced a dire diagnosis of stage four liver cancer. Witnessing the limitations of conventional treatments, Dr. Siso's search for alternative methods led her to the Hippocrates Health Institute, where she discovered the transformative potential of raw, plant-based foods.

Shortly after, faced with her own diagnosis of stage two cervical cancer, she chose an unconventional path to healing. Refusing conventional treatments, she embraced a holistic approach, turning to natural methods and detox programs.
Within weeks of committing to a plant-based, detox journey, Dr. Siso witnessed her cancer vanish. Her experience wasn't just a miracle; it was the culmination of a powerful belief in the healing capacity of nature's provisions, affirming the potential of raw, plant-based foods as "God's Medicine."

Send us Fan MailWelcome to another transformative episode of "Healthy Mind, Healthy Life." I'm your host, Avik, and today we have a truly remarkable guest whose life journey is a testament to the incredible power of mindset and resilience.
Our guest today, Frank McGovern, has navigated through life's most challenging circumstances and emerged as an inspiring example of personal growth and determination. His story is a mosaic of trials and triumphs, marked by incredible resilience and a shift in mindset that reshaped his life.
From the very beginning, Frank faced adversity most of us can't even imagine. Born into a life on welfare, with a father battling addiction, Frank's early years were far from easy. By his early teens, he was caught in a cycle of selling and using drugs, resulting in expulsion from high school not once, but twice.
The road was treacherous, with close encounters with the brink of death due to drugs and alcohol during his high school years. Yet, Frank's life took another unexpected turn when he became a father at the tender age of 18.
Despite the challenges, Frank pushed forward and, in his early twenties, began a business venture. But the shadows of drinking problems loomed over him from his mid-twenties to his forties, all while building a successful business, maintaining a marriage, and raising four children.
Then came the wake-up call – his marriage ended. It was a moment of reckoning, where he was forced to confront the demons that had been haunting him for years. Through the pain and the darkness, Frank found his passion and purpose, an incredible transformation that allowed him to turn his life around.

Send us Fan MailWelcome back to another enriching episode of "Healthy Mind, Healthy Life." I'm your host, Avik, and today, we have the incredible privilege of hosting a guest who is not only an accomplished attorney but a master of self-discovery and personal growth.
It's an honor to introduce Amber Fuhriman, a woman of multiple talents, roles, and remarkable achievements. Amber is a recovering perfectionist and serial accomplisher, and she's on a mission to help professionals design their best lives and summon the courage to live them.
Amber's professional journey began in the realm of law, as she graduated from law school in Michigan and embarked on her career as an attorney, eventually establishing herself as the Owner and Attorney at Fuhriman Law in Las Vegas, Nevada, specializing in Criminal Defense and Immigration Law.
However, as Amber's story unfolds, we discover that her path was far from conventional. Throughout her educational and professional life, she carried a belief that there would be a defining moment when everything would fall into place, a kind of "I'll be happy when" moment. But, like many of us, that moment never arrived, leading Amber to a profound realization.
