Patricia Knight Meyer is the founder of My Adopted Life, where she writes about identity, memory, and reconstructing a sense of self after adoption. She is an adoptee rights activist and author of the forthcoming memoir "Wonderland: A Black Market Baby's Rise from Adoption's Rabbit Hole," releasing November 3rd, which tells her own story of discovering she was adopted illegally and reuniting with her biological parents decades later.
