Welcome to another episode of "Healthy Mind, Healthy Life." I'm your host Avik, and today we have a truly special guest with us, Kevin Kraft. He's not just a musician, sound healer, and children's book author but also a dedicated practitioner in the field of mindfulness and holistic well-being.
Kevin's journey is truly remarkable. Born near deaf in one ear and facing speech impediments, he overcame these challenges to find his unique connection to the world of sound and healing. In 2008, his life took a transformative turn when he experienced the sacred sound current during a concert, which set him on a path of exploration into how music can be a powerful tool for healing, manifestation, release, and heightened awareness.
Kevin is the founder of Soundshala, a platform that offers a unique mindfulness curriculum combining music, breathwork, movement, and meditation to help individuals experience the profound benefits of sound yoga. His practice encompasses a wide range of mindfulness areas, including Power Vinyasa, Himalayan Kriya Yoga, Yoga Nidra, and much more. Kevin employs various instruments, such as gongs, crystal bowls, Tibetan bowls, flutes, and drums, to create soundscapes that promote relaxation, balance, and inner harmony.
